This 2,200m² facility will serve as a vital link in the healthcare transport network, ensuring that pharmaceutical and healthcare products reach hospitals and wholesalers efficiently, safely, and with a reduced environmental impact.
Strategic national Location for Seamless Healthcare Temperature-Controlled Delivery
Located in the heart of Spain, the Vallecas facility is perfectly positioned among Madrid’s largest hospitals and with direct access to key highways like A3, A4, M40, and M45. This makes it an ideal base for pharmaceutical temperature-controlled deliveries throughout the region, allowing Eurotranspharma to swiftly meet the needs of healthcare providers.
Capacities
With 4 docks for trucks and trailers, plus 3 doors dedicated for vans, the Vallecas site is designed to operate last-mile distribution of healthcare supplies including cross docking activities. Up to 20 vehicles—including natural gas and electric-powered trucks soon—will operate from this location, delivering pharmaceutical products across the region.
Built for Today, Ready for the Future
The facility currently features specialized cold chambers for temperature ranges of 2-8°C and 15-25°C, ensuring optimal storage and transportation of temperature-sensitive healthcare products, with plans and capacities for future expansion. This flexibility will allow Vallecas not only to handle last-mile deliveries but also serve as a regional Hub, enhancing the reach and efficiency of Eurotranspharma’s healthcare distribution operations.

The Vallecas depot exemplifies Eurotranspharma Spain’s commitment to a greener future. We started with two gas-powered vehicles (one CNG and one LPG) and plan to introduce additional alternative driving initiatives soon. Additionally, we have already installed solar panels to harness renewable energy and are actively exploring other eco-initiatives.
